Did I tidy my room? YES! I sort of let it go right downhill recently, but today I cleared out rubbish and started sorting out my bookshelves. I need, somehow, to get rid of about a hundred books.
Did I go to bed early last night? NO! I was up until 2am, watching a thing about stand up comedians with Pol
Did I take my nighttime anti-migraine pills? YES!
Did I do my dawn walk? NO! I was woken up at 11am by a closing door followed by Pol stubbing his toe.
What's the weather like? I don't know, I haven't looked. Cloudy.
Did I wash and get dressed in nice clothes? YES! Not unto the necklace though.
Did I do relaxation after breakfast? YES! More before breakfast, actually.
Did I go out somewhere else too? NO!
Did I cook? YES! I had porridge with cherries and almonds for breakfast, and scrambled eggs and buttered toast for lunch.
Did I take my post-breakfast anti-migraine pills? YES!
Did I do anything energetic? NO! I sorted bookshelves and wiped the kitchen, I took rubbish out, but I didn't exert myself particularly at all.
Did I use my brain? YES! I studied hieroglyphs and I will be on a brand new exercise tomorrow, that I've never done. I can now translate 'his wife of his affection' without referring to the vocabulary (h.m=f st-ib=f) and throwing ('m'3) and spearing (stt). I am more shaky about 'the revered' (imh^y I think, but I am not sure) - I can read it and translate it perfectly well but I can't transliterate it (turn it into the standard marks for pronunciation).
I also did a bit of Arabic, because I felt like it.
Happy things: Pol did the pots and was pleasant company. Sessifet is back and cooking. Turban squashes look amazing, and now I know it's supposed to look like that, and what it is (for the last few days, it has merely been 'some sort of mutant pumpkin' sitting on top of the microwave. I listened to Neil Gaiman reading The Graveyard Book and it was excellent.
HEALTH
Did I take painkillers? YES! Cocodamol this afternoon. (None yesterday, all day).
Did I have a migraine? YES! It is sitting around my head like a lopsided crown of thorns, one particularly large one of which is stuck in my left eye and another in my cheek below the eye.
Do I feel MEish? YES! I am tired and I hurt. It's been an awful week for MEishness.
How are my sinuses? Cruddy and infected.
Did I sleep well? YES! At least until I woke up suddenly.
PLANS
Move books around.
Contact Sean in the evening, regarding Samhain, unless I am going elsewhere then.
Possible dawn walk if I get an early night tonight.
Freegle things.
Go to the resource centre for lunch.
